Origins et creation:
Immigrating or expatriating is never an easy process. The foreigner has to adapt himself to a new environment, learn another language, look for a job, make friends…
In this context, IFDC, acronym for “Association pour l’Insertion par la Formation et le Développement Culturel” was founded in April 2016.
In this year, there were already several institutions helping foreigners to integrate in France, but their solutions were not systematically adapted to the problems of some of them:
- Undocumented migrants do not always dare to contact them, for fear of being deported,
- Administrative burden, in addition to the language barrier, discourages the most motivated,
- Course schedules do not correspond to everyone's timetable.
So, we have decided to positioned us as an alternative to these organisations, in particular by offering a warm and human-sized space for individuals far from home.
Day after day, our organisation welcomes, accompanies and supports its members in their integration process.
The association’s core of activity:
The aim of our Association is to reach out to people. Our core target group is made up of people who are looking for a better social and professional situation. We are totally involved and focused in the success of this educational mission.
Indeed, our programme called "Autour du Monde» aims to help non-French speakers to learn French. The idea is to give them the knowledge they need to pass Language Exams, such as the DELF or the DELF PRO.
