Origins et creation:
Immigrating or expatriating is never an easy process. The foreigner has to adapt himself to a new environment, learn another language, look for a job, make friends…
In this context, IFDC, acronym for “Association pour l’Insertion par la Formation et le Développement Culturel” was founded in April 2016.
In this year, there were already several institutions helping foreigners to integrate in France, but their solutions were not systematically adapted to the problems of some of them:
So, we have decided to positioned us as an alternative to these organisations, in particular by offering a warm and human-sized space for individuals far from home.
Day after day, our organisation welcomes, accompanies and supports its members in their integration process.
The association’s core of activity:
For several years now, all the volunteers have been fighting against ignorance and marginalisation. Several values underlie this action, namely:
Students are full participating members of our Association, like our volunteers. It means that they can participate and vote during our General Assembly. The global orientation and decisions are in agreement with all members.
IFDC is a non-profit Association.
We have also obtained the status of General Interest Association, which allows us to receive and tax-free donations up to 66%.
